Comics Art Museum

The Comics Art Museum is a meeting place for all comic book lovers in the heart of Brussels. This museum celebrates over a hundred years of comics, putting a special spotlight on our exceptionally rich, Belgian comic book history.

The regularly renewed permanent exhibitions and a diversified program of temporary exhibitions enable visitors to discover the countless aspects of comic art. Famous characters lead the way towards new adventures, an encounter with a world where creativity has no limits. Numerous original drawings, unpublished documents, statues and games are gathered together to allow you to have a good time and to delight all fans and enthusiasts of the Ninth Art! Enhanced by an exceptional Art Nouveau home designed by Victor Horta, the Comics Art Museum is just as much a tribute to the pioneers as a glimpse on contemporary comic art.

If you're joining us for Cartoon Business' Welcome Dinner, come early and have the chance to visit the iconic museum honouring the creators and heroes of the 9th Art for 30 years, as well as characters you may have seen in animated projects pitched at previous CARTOON events. Take the opportunity to check out the Auditorium Pieter de Poortere: discover the world of "Dickie" / "Boerke", recently produced as adult animation series (VRT-Canvas) by De Hofleveranciers.
