One-to-one meetings
For the first time, Cartoon Forum offers a networking opportunity after the pitching sessions. One-to-one meetings will be organised on Thursday 19 September 2024 from 3:40pm to 5:40pm. Come and engage with animation professionals and take the chance to meet the Italian delegation, new buyers, and financial partners!
Thanks to the partnership with the Bologna Children's Book Fair, not only the publishing industry has the great opportunity to network with the animation world, but also the animation producers can discover the business opportunities by meeting Italian and international publishers. CARTOON's main focus is to show the role of books / animation within building content for children, teens, young adult audiences and readers. Nowadays, it is also important to strengthen the links between publishing and animation by both fostering books to screen adaptations and maintaining a platform for publishers to invest more in books adaptations from animated TV series.
How it works
CARTOON organises one-to-one meetings for animation professionals who wish to meet with other participants. Based on the participant’s choices, CARTOON will send a list of meetings scheduled with the different companies that interest them. Each meeting will last for maximum 20 min.
Registration
- All participants are welcome to take part in the one-to-one meetings.
- No extra fee (it is included in the Cartoon Forum standard online fee).
- To register, tick the appropriate box on the Cartoon Forum's online registration form.
- Register by Friday 2 August 2024. Limited availability. First come, first served!
- Please ensure that you will be available at the scheduled meeting times.
- Once registered, fill in your company profile on My Cartoon (compulsory).
- At the beginning of August, CARTOON will contact you to select the companies you wish to meet.
- At the beginning of September, you will receive your meeting schedule.
