Matita is a 10-year-old girl that rewrites in her diary her version of reality thanks to her compulsive imagination. A geography research becomes an adventure on a galleon to face the sea of boredom. A race turns into an epic mythological tale, if her crush is running with her. Every day is a new story, a new literary genre and a little life lesson for her future self, so that she won't forget it once she grows up. Yet, her imagination also unveils her fears, like growing up, always busy, with no fantasies, just like her mother. In the series’ finale, we finally see her mother's face when she discovers that Matita has disappeared. Her only hope lies in the stories written by her daughter.
