While trying to catch a little cat he had befriended, Zayn, a 13-year-old boy, falls through an inter-dimensional portal that takes him to a parallel world by the name of Palitchan. This world is populated by anthropomorphic animals and the little cat, who now stands on its two feet, is taller than Zayn. Her name is Yoko. She's an apprentice kataknight, part of a caste of fighters who guarantee peace on Palitchan.
