Xbo films

Xbo films is specialised in animated films and has two studios: La Ménagerie for stop-motion, and Les Affranchis for 2D. Its productions have been screened at numerous festivals, including Florence Miailhe's "Butterfly" - which won the Crystal Bear at the Berlinale - and Cynthia Calvi's "Gigi", selected this year at Annecy.

In 2020, Xbo films co-produced Florence Miailhe's César-nominated "The Crossing". Following the release of "A Stone in a Shoe" by Eric Montchaud and "The Boy and the Elephant" by Sonia Gerbeaud, "Marcel, Santa Claus (and the Pizza Delivery Boy)", by Julie Rembauville and Nicolas Bianco-Levrin, and "A Story of the Story of the Story of the Story of the Story of Christmas" by Tom Chertier will be distributed in November 2024, followed by "Zoobox", by Myriam Schott and Linda Yi in 2025.

Xbo films is currently starting international co-production of a stop-motion feature film, "Il Tesoro del Bigatto" by Stefano Cattini and Francesco Vecchi and the production of several short films and TV series, such as "School Monitors" by Marie-Pierre Hauwelle and Gildas Rigo, "Contes d’Oc" by Nikita Fraysse, or "Our Lil’Adventures" by Robin Barrière presented this year at Cartoon Forum.
