ALCA, the New Aquitaine Region cul­tur­al agency, pro­vides a wide range of back­ing ser­vices for cin­e­ma and TV indus­tries. It sup­ports cre­ation and pro­duc­tion, notably through a 7M€ film fund (which reach­es 11M€ with local gov­ern­ments), active at every step of the cre­ation process (scriptwrit­ing, devel­op­ment, pro­duc­tion) and opened to inter­na­tion­al co-production.Nouvelle-Aquitaine is the biggest region in France and hosts an impor­tant ani­ma­tion clus­ter, Mage­lis, based in Angouleme.
