Created in April 2021, SudAnim is an association whose aim is to bring together Animation and Video Game professionals based in the SUD Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur region in order to federate, develop and structure the industry as a whole.
The association focuses on the fields of 2D, 3D, video games, stop motion, motion design, VR, VA, VFX, etc... In other words, all the moving image professions that have skills and issues in common.
It is also open to related animation and video game expertise and companies in sound, administration, accounting, finance, legal affairs and even to partner institutions wishing to join.
SudAnim represents its members in dealings with institutions in the region (Région Sud, Marseille, Arles, Avignon, départements and metropolitan areas) and with national and international industry professionals.
Its main objective is to promote and develop the companies and talents that make it up, both professionally and to the general public. To achieve this, it organises a number of activities throughout the year and takes part in key events, of which CartoonNext is a highlight.
