Blue Figures is an anthology series project of nested short biopics inspired by the life of famous Jazz musicians. It aims to explore the relation between Jazz music and those making it flourish.
Crossing different countries and times, each episode will be linked to the next thanks to a character or a location. That way they can be seen separately or consecutively, offering a global, relatable and sensorial experience of the social and personal origins of Jazz music in the world.The series aims not only to make jazz enthusiasts experience the reality of the lifes of Jazz musicians but also to share meaningful and universal stories to an unacquainted audience.
